Kara Birkenstock
With a diverse background in public relations, entertainment and fashion, Kara Birkenstock brings a savvy business perspective to the House Network team.
Known for her thorough, results-driven style, Birkenstock is a passionate agent who puts the needs of her clients first. Having lived in various LA neighborhoods, she has a wealth of local knowledge and an in depth understanding of how to navigate the public school system. She has a keen eye for design, staging and home renovation, and has consulted numerous clients on fix and flip properties.
As President of KBPR, Birkenstock developed public relations and marketing strategies for world renowned brands, celebrities, small businesses and nonprofit organizations. As West Coast Publicist and On-Camera Spokesperson for DSW Shoes, she represented the brand on TV Guide Network, Style, Access Hollywood and the KTLA Morning News, to name a few.
Birkenstock has created captivating lifestyle content as Writer, Producer and Director for various television and web programs. She currently stars as Host and Judge on the popular Netflix cooking competition series, “Eat Your Words.”
Birkenstock received a BBA from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. Originally from Northern California, she currently calls the South Bay home.
